Workaround: 2023 Lacerte - Form 7206 Not Generating

In some cases, Form 7206 is not generating and the SE Health Insurance Deduction is getting inexplicably limited on Sch 1 Line 17. 

Workaround:
1. Go to Screen 24, Adjustments to Income
2. Navigate into batch mode by pressing Ctrl+W
3. Delete codes 17 and 67. 

  • You may only see one of them.

This is caused by the SE Health Insurance overrides from 2022 being brought forward during proforma. These inputs no longer exist Lacerte 2023 and forward.
