Lacerte leaves a lot of files in the user profile during an update, causing slow logins

In addition to the ongoing issue with Lacerte 2025 not updating, everytime you check for updates, and it downloads them, it is storing the information in the user profile. It never seems to remove this information, so the user profile keeps growing. In a remote desktop environment, this means that it gets slower and slower to login. You are currently storing this information to the roaming profile, in the appdata\roaming\temp folder. While you should be removing these files, if you are going to leave them, please move them to the appdata\local folder somewhere, so they don't effect login times.

Thank you.

Hi @jheymann welcome to the Community and thanks for posting your first idea about if we are going to leave files behind to move them to the appdata\local folder somewhere, so they don't effect login times. We appreciaate you taking the time to give us this feedback and for helping to improve the program experience. We have given this to our Support so they can take a look at it.
