Pro Series Partnership Software requires an EIN for a disregarded LLC entity is not correct
The 1065 Software issues an error for an LLC partner that does not have an EIN. This is not tax law. An LLC that has a single member does not have to have an EIN. Pro Series needs to change and allow the DE code entry without an EIN. I have had owners refuse to get an EIN just for Pro Series.
